2010 Fall 日記 part 3 (持續更新)

期末了! 好快~
在準備期末考跟期末報告的同時 還是忍不住想要update一下
這是好事吧~ 表示我已經養成不寫網誌就不行的"好習慣" !?

最近覺得 在享受大家提供給我的溫暖的友誼時~
我應該要記得 不要傷害我最親近 最喜愛的朋友們

1203 自製明信片第二波!
哈 自製的東西 真的會上癮耶!
又再度訂了一些新的照片來做愛心明信片了~

這次主要是因為感恩節又去了Sonoma (在Napa旁邊)
(我喜歡Sonoma遠勝於Napa~ 考完試來寫個遊記! 阿 還有感恩節~~)
所以 又有了很多我覺得很漂亮的景色想寄給遠方的朋友們!
還加上聖誕節的氣氛~~





不過收到實品之後想想 應該在正面加上 sonoma, CA 等字樣
才像明信片嘛~~ 可惜~

前幾天收到的這張米米的才更高招!!

把自己放到裡面了~~ 超可愛的!!!!

1128 Buckhorn on me

Buckhorn is a historical landmark/restaurant 10 mins drive from Davis.
It's in a small town called 'Winters".



They do provide good steaks and good dinning environment. Typical American country style treat, at least for me.
Funny thing is, the owner of this steak house, also owns a nice brunch in Winters. It's right across the street. Imagine that he starts his brunch every morning at one end of the road, then closes it everyday at 3, happily steps across the road to hang the "Opening" tag on the door of his steak house. What a life. I love both the brunch (esp. the crunchy yet soft-hearted biscuit) and the steak house!


1125 Thanksgiving & Farewell party for Ray

感恩節當天
我做了烤雞 烤約克夏布丁 還有 自製蘋果醬之cheese tart



不過那天其實一團亂~
除了要出菜 早上還趕到學校去拿TA學生的data 不然他們就不能寫出報告了
下午還要飛奔去機場接 租車出問題的李晟愷
olivia也整個被我佔去不少時間 :(
Natalie也被我佔去很多時間看顧烤雞
(所以其實應該說是我&Natalie的第一隻烤雞 :))

導致晚上的重頭戲 Dr. Ray的Farewell party整個大遲到! :(
感恩節 就是要感恩~
這次大家聚在一起幫熱心助人的小胖學長送行 真的是再符合不過了~

在Davis的日子 因為有小胖 所以開心很多 也有很多出去玩的機會!
不過可以去南加工作 + 正式成家立業! 其實是個很開心的開始阿~
而且又不遠~~~~ :D
是個喜大於憂的晚上~
